RyngDyng at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and at the Worlcup Final in Mexico

All elimination rounds and finals in Paris were measured with RyngDyng RD720 systems and the results were shown live on the monitors in the stadium and in the TV productions.

We used this opportunity to record test data from more than 4000 arrows and used those to fine-tune all parameters in RyngDyng. We then verified the result at the World Cup Final in Tlaxcale (Mexico). At the recurve final, all 426 arrows were detected without a single error and scored with an average accuracy of 0.5 mm in the position measurement. As is usually the case at tournaments, we used the 'fast mode' with a detection time of less than 1 second.

As a special service for you, we have uploaded all the data from Paris to the RyngDyng demo account and are therefore available to all interested parties for analysis. Simply log in to the server using the demo account credentials (login: RyngDyng, password: 123demo123) and select the relevant days of the Olympics (2024/07/30 ... 2024/08/04) on the My Data → Data analysis → day by day page.

New RyngDyng Software version 1.47

Regular further development of the RyngDyng software is a matter of course for us and all RyngDyng users receive this software automatically and free of charge. The performance and reliability of RyngDyng are continuously optimized.

The results of the tuning with the Paris 2024 data have also been incorporated into the current software for RyngDyng. There were also a few minor improvements and fixes.

As usual, the update takes place automatically when the RyngDyng router is connected to the Internet and then RyngDyng is powered on.
